Todd Vachon for Congress, Connecticut 2nd District

Here I am, a candidate, who represents the viewpoints not heard in the mainstream. The "Republocrats" of the mainstream media and their system of corporately funded campaigning have lead us further and further down a path towards complete oligarchy.

Where is the real discussion about the issues we are facing today? Not on Fox News...not on CNN either. Hardly even on NPR anymore. The issue is not campaign funding, which seems to be all the mainstream media considers when election time comes around... I guess this is because an incredibly large amount of those campaign millions go to them to pay for advertising. Advertising on our own publicly owned airwaves which are licensed out to provide us with a public service.

  • Bringing the troops home

I will vote in favor of all legislation to immediately end the illegal occupation of Iraq

I will vote in favor of funding to expand mass transit
  • Campaign finance reform

I will vote to reform our broken electoral system by eliminating all private funding of elections
